Seventeen is featured on the soundtrack to A Slice of Saturday Night, the musical composed by The Heather Brothers, which first made its West End debut in 1989.
After several national and international tours, the production returned to the West End in 1993, with pop-star Sonia playing the role of Sue and Dennis Waterman as Eric.
Since then over 300 performances of the musical have taken place with and an adapted, shortened version is now performed on the Queen Elizabeth cruise ship.
The songs in A Slice of Saturday Night are a pastiche of 1960s go-go music and follows the story of a group of teenagers navigating their way through relationships in a 1964 nightclub call the Club-a-Go-Go.
